Gorgeous Tulips from Portugal!
Ligia from Portugal said "I would SO LOVE a Tulip Tutorial!!!!
:-))".
Then she got her tutorial few days ago. Now she is kind enough to share with us her wire wrapped Tulips.
Here is what Ligia has to say about the tutorial:
It was very easy to follow your tutorial, and especially the thing I always find hardest, you make it very simple, because you tell us exactly all the wire measures. In some tutorials we almost have to guess, but here it was excellent, and I didn't waste any wire, which is very important.
Thank you Ligia for sharing these! I am happiest when someone successfully completed a project based on my tutorials.

Wired bird's Nest Tutorials
Just sharing what fellow artists has recently shared.
Someone asked me months back if I have the tutorial for a wired bird's nest pendant. The answer is no but then shortly after that, Cathe Holden of Just Something I Made shared a tutorial on how to make this little cute wired bird nest.
Then very recently, Deryn also shared her own bird's nest tutorial (for a small fee). Could it be the spring season that people are making lots of bird's nests?
Anyway, both tutorials look great although you may notice some differences in the techniques.
I haven't got the time to make them yet but will be soon.
If you have the time, check out both sites and get inspired.

Emily's Pretties
This bracelet is my favorite. Notice the Caged Herringbone Weaved Beads? :) She did a terrific job for a first timer and for someone who is very new to wire jewelry.
Look at her Rose! Rose! I Love you Rings and the Sparkly Ring.
Well done Emily! and welcome to the club.
Looking forward to more new creations from you :)

Frequently Asked Questions
I am referring to questions related to my Tutorials.
Starting this year, from time to time, I will post some of the questions from my customers here for the benefits of others as well.
Here are two of the most frequently asked questions I received and my answers for them:
Question 1. "After I buy it (the tutorial/s) if I need help with it would you be open to being ask questions if need be?"
Answer: Of course! I welcome questions and very convo friendly. Your success in making a piece based on my Tutorial/s is most important to me.
Question 2: Do you provide supply list for material used in your Tutorials?
Answer: Unfortunately no but rest assured that material used in my tutorials are material you can easily find in any craft shops or bead shops. Otherwise, they can easily be substituted with other similar material. Eg. You may substitute an 8mm Swarovski Crystal with your favorite 8mm gemstones.
If you have further questions relating to my Tutorials, feel free to ask me.
You may also email me at meiky6@gmail.com.
Otherwise, leave me a comment here and I shall get back to you :)

Wire Wrap Stud Earrings By Linda of CrazedMagpie
Here is what Linda has to say about her earrings made based on my recent tutorial - Wire Wrap Stud Earrings.
Hi Mei,
Your tutorial was very clear and concise! See?
The first picture is my first try - came out pretty good! The second, I got brave a little too fast and switched to silver....not as good - but I think the wire was heavier. It didn't want to bend for anything! Those two inspired me to go bigger and bolder although not necessarily better with the third pair.
Now I'll take my sore fingers off to do some housework!

Variations on Sparkly Crystal Ring by Cheryl Lloyd
How creative can you be with my sparkly crystal ring?
Here are variations of the ring by Cheryl Lloyd of Handmade In Wiltshire. She made a double turn around the central stone and then the two outers. Lovely aren't they and here is what she has to say:
"I've played around with your sparkly ring tutorial so often - it's such a good technique, thank you. Yes, I can do it blindfolded now!"
Blindfolded! Although its my tut but I can't do it blindfolded yet LOL!

Just Sharing - Alexander Calder's Jewelry
I stumbled upon this news and would like to share with you the creative and unique wire wrap jewelry by Alexander Calder.
Some of his work looks rather familiar :) and I am sure you have notice this with other wire wrap artists as well.
I guess its universal...human minds think alike sometimes. Something or idea you thought of about today may have been created before.....just don't be too surprise...:)

Tutorial in the Making & Corra's Ring
For the last few days I have been busy in between work and home affairs with a new project. Yeah! I am in the process of preparing my second e-tutorial. This time around its a project for wire wrapping a donut pendant. I am hoping to get it done in the next couple of days so check back if you are interested. Here is a sneak peak of one of the picture I have taken and halfway processing them.
And here are two Sparkly Crystal Rings made by Corra of decorshandmades recently based on my Sparkly Crystal Ring Tutorial. I like the metallic silver one.
Corra also has a ring tutorial made available recently. She named it Zhu Ring, incorporating another Chinese into wired jewelry. She is a specialist in this field I must say :)

Sparkly Crystal Ring by Candice
Sparkly Crystal Ring Tutorial
********************************
Here is another sample of the sparkly crystal ring made based on my Sparkly Crystal Ring tutorial. This is made by Candice of The Fortunes of Me. Here is what Candice said about my Sparkly Ring Tutorial:
I just purchased your Sparkly Ring tutorial yesterday and made my first Sparkly Ring today. I could not believe how easy this ring was to make. The instructions were written out so clearly and there were so many illustrations that anyone could make this ring. This ring design is so versatile. I made this, my first, with an 8mm swarovski pearl and sterling silver. I will be keeping it for myself. But there will definitely be more Sparkly Rings to come from me and it is all thanks to you and your design. If you would like to purchase the tutorial for this ring, look to the top right hand side column of this blog. Otherwise, you can check it out at my Etsy Shop - WireBliss. Happy wrapping!
Malaysian Wire Jewelers Rendezvous
The highlight of my KL trip recently was our "Malaysian Wire Jewelers Rendezvous" at Sunway Pyramid two nights ago. It was our very FIRST (face to face) meeting after we got to know each other online. As I am not a KL'lite, Shuku came and meet me at Holiday Villa and from there we took a cab to meet up with Corra at Sunway Pyramid. Apparently we waited at the wrong place (Sunway Pyramid is just so huge) but Corra found us anyway.
The meeting went very well. I was quite nervous initially but we hit if off immediately. All the questions that flooded my mind before the meeting evaporated into thin air. Can't remember what they were anymore but Shuku and Corra are very nice and friendly. We went on to chat, most of the time, you knowlah....no other than wire jewelry :)
Shuku was wearing all her handcrafted jewelry - necklace, bracelet (Fly me to the Moon), earrings and rings, while me, pendant and ring. Corra is the odd one out. She didn't wear any of her own handcrafted jewelry. This, she explained is because she is a bit shy of the attention she got when putting them on as people will stare at them and starts asking questions.
It was a great get together and here are some pix taken that night.

Sparkly Crystal Ring - Testimonial
Yesterday I received an email from one of my Wire Wrap Sparkly Crystal Ring Tutorial client, Cheryl. She made some beautiful wire wrap rings as I showed here the other day - sparkly-crystal-ring-by-cheryl-lloyd.
I was so happy with what she wrote and asked for her permission to post it in my blog. If you would like to know what she has to say, read on below:
A very quick email update for you - I know you'll appreciate this! - I've now made about 20 rings based on your tutorial now (in the proper size crystals & wire!) and without even 'trying', I sold two to family members popping in & drew very positive comments from a few more friends, again, just turning up for a cup of tea and a chat.It does seem that people are happy to buy rings on impulse. Today, our mobile hairdresser came over to cut my husbands hair and she also couldn't resist looking through all the rings and trying some on. She didn't buy one on the spot because I didn't have the one she liked in her size, and mainly, she didn't wear rings whilst working). I'd have been very happy to give her a ring because I like her, and also because she would have been very good (free!) PR!!!!
Cheryl, thank you for sharing and I hope you will make more sales soon.
If you are interested with the Sparkly Ring Tutorial, you can purchase it here. Look out for the "Buy Now" Paypal button at the top right hand column of this blog or you can visit my Etsy Shop.
If you have any question, you can email me or just leave a comment.

Sparkly Crystal Ring by Riqzmiecreation
Ainol is amazing. She bought my tutorial for Sparkly Crystal Ring but take a look at what she came up with. This ring is even more beautiful than my Sparkly Crystal Ring and you can see that she put lots of effort into it to come up with a ring as unique as this one.

Sparkly Crystal Ring by Corra
Corra proved it again. She has the talent and speed as well. Following the instructions in my step by step pictorial tutorial for Sparkly Crystal Ring, she completed her first ever ring in 10 minutes! That is really something. When I first started making rings, I spent about half an hour for a simple wire wrap ring.
For this short time that I know her (less than a month), she is a great photographer as well. If you would like to see her pretties and great photographs, visit Corra's blog decorshandmades.blogspot.com.
She will be angry with me for cropping her pictures smaller here. She mentioned somewhere that she hates to crop her pictures. But Corra, I just want to show the details of the ring you created here :). Sorry ya!
Speaking of speed, where can you find someone who created 3 tutorials within a time span of 3 months from the time she discovered wire jewelry?
Sparkly Crystal Ring by Cheryl Lloyd
At last I got to see some results from my Sparkly Crystal Ring Tutorial. Cheryl from the UK is very kind to show me her rings this morning. She also gave me the permission to feature them here. Thanks Cheryl.
She said "I made three that evening - only in practice wire and with the wrong size crystals (6mm, not 8) so they aren't anything like as good as yours".
I guess the size of the crystal is not that important as they turned out very nice and sweet.
Cheryl has other talents as well and if you are interested with other items handcrafted by Cheryl, take a peek at her website - Handmade in Wiltshire.
