Wire Wrap Rectangular Glass Beads Pendant & Earrings

Something simple but very bright red rectangular faceted glass beads matched with 6mm bicone swarovski crystals for these pendant and earrings. This is made on request from a friend. This time around I wrapped them with gold filled wire as she will be wearing her own gold chain with the pendant.

Rainbows and the Sun

The sun was finally out this morning and is still shining at the moment. At least some of our clothes will get the opportunity to feel the sunshine today. What a nice feeling, headache gone (for now), grey sky gone and sunshine is back again (for now). We are still in the landas season, so there are more rainy days ahead. Anyway, here is a set of rainbow bracelet and earrings to accompany today's sunshine.

Wire Jewelry & Rain

What has wire jewelry got to do with rain? Well, it is the "landas" season (wet season) here in Kuching and it has been raining days and nights for the last five days. Luckily there is no major flooding except for a leaky roof. Water have been dripping down on William's bed for the last 4 nights. So, for now he is sharing our king size bed. He must be hoping the water keep dripping as he likes his current spot. Must get the roof fix once the wet season is over. Actually, I was looking forward to stay inhouse during the rainy days and make more wire wrapping but that was not meant to be. Headache attack again and this time it lasted the whole weekend (3 nights and two days!!). Can you imagine that? Really spoil my whole weekend plans....hmmm! Spent most of the time lying down (half asleep) as the throbbing pain just won't go away. In between that boring time, I took some pictures of the rainy days from the bedroom. Enjoy them......also an earring and pendant for your viewing pleasures.

Chaos Rings

They are not meant to be chaotic as in my mind I can see that they should turn out quite tidy. But while making them, I can't seems to control the wire wrapping while trying to keep the shape of the rings in place. So, they all ended up looking rather chaotic. Three of them are wire wrapped with pearl beads while the read one is garnet.

Amethyst & Crystal Earring

Made this simple earring for somebody who consider herself very simple and doesn't like all the wire wrapping around her stones and beads...but love the heart shaped amethyst and the sparkling crystals.

Shell Earrings - Vibrant and Fun

Two pairs of earrings made of colorful shell beads. The round one is a commissioned piece and I made the longish one for fun as I love the combined vibrant colors of the shells.
