Leaf Pendant
This is another commissioned piece of wire pendant. This time it is "leaf" themed. For the leaf frame, I used 20ga stainless steel wire while for wrapping the crystals, I used 28ga wire.
I used 6mm and 4mm bicone swarovski crystals of several colors, mostly shades of green as well as pink and white. I hope it does look lie a leaf.
Here are views of the pendant from the top/front, side and back.

The Princesses Left
The princesses left for Singapore about two hours ago. They should be in the safe hands of their parents by now. The parents left for Singapore early this morning. These two girls are really brave to be travelling by themselves at this young age. Here are some pictures taken of them with the cousin brothers and grandma.
These earrings, pendants and bracelet are pieces of the wire wrap jewelry that I made for them but didn't manage to take photos of yesterday.

Wire Wrapped Flora Pendant - 7 Petals
Its almost Friday, 5 days since my last post. Mmm.....wish I can post more frequently.
The between posts is getting wider and wider.
This picture been sitting on my desktop for the last 4 days and I kept getting distracted although I kept telling myself to post it - everyday.
Tomorrow I'd be away whole day and by weekend I'd be busy with family matter so I am posting it NOW :)
This wire wrapped flower pendant looks familiar? Yeah, here's my first one. Only, this time around there are 7 petals instead of 5.
Another one similar to this design is the next project.
Hope to finish it this weekend.

What Would You Do? | Fossilized Coral Pendant - Wire Wrapped and Woven
Today I would like to ask a question and I'd love to hear what you have in mind.
Do leave me comment if you have the time.
Here is the question.
Do you....
Meanwhile, here is sharing with you my recently completed wire wrapped fossilized coral pendant.
Thank you for your time.
Do leave me comment if you have the time.
Here is the question.
What would you do if you discovered that a piece you just completed looks similar (maybe 95% similarities) to someone else's design?
However, you cross your heart and swear to die you have never seen hers/his design before?Do you....
- remove all pictures of the piece you have posted?
- give credit to the other person? If yes, how do you give credit in this situation as you have never seen his/her creation/design before hand? --- ehm..."thank you for the inspiration but I have never seen your creation before?" --- sounds very fake and insincere right?
- offer an apology?....for what ya?
- believe in coincidence and explain how you come up with your design?
- or accuse the other person for copying (if he/she is accusing you for the same)!
- or let me know your experience...........
Meanwhile, here is sharing with you my recently completed wire wrapped fossilized coral pendant.
Thank you for your time.

How to Wire Wrap Irregular Shape Stone
This is faster than I thought.
Got this tiger eye pendant done within two hours this afternoon.
That's what I did initially and I failed miserably.
With 3 wires, I formed the frame, holding the stone in place securely.
Wrapped them with 3 different weaving techniques as you can see from the pictures here.
Problem is (but not really a problem actually!), you will end up with a bunch of wires at the top.
Have a wonderful and productive weekend dear readers.

Last week, I spent few hours wire wrapping the same piece with another method, which I abandoned when I remembered how Danagonia wrapped her giant nugget bead. Thanks Camilla for the inspiration!
The irregular shape of this tiger eye makes it difficult to wrap with the normal cab wrap. That's what I did initially and I failed miserably.

A bit tricky to tuck them all in neatly, leaving two for the bail and still make it look good.
Overall, I am quite happy with the outcome and I can see a lot of potential in this technique especially for irregularly shaped stones. If you would like to learn how to wire wrap in similar way, check out Camilla's
tutorial here.Have a wonderful and productive weekend dear readers.

Catching Up - Wire Wrapped Cab
Got this done this evening. I thought it would be a breeze wrapping this piece but not really. I use 23ga wire for wrapping the frame and I have problem keeping all the wire together while fitting the cab in there.
A bit of flow there but if you look closely, the cab is positioned a bit off the center.
Special thanks to Bobbi for her tutorial.
Why Cathching Up? Because I have lots of catching up to do ;)

Resconstructed Pendants
These two pendants, one rutilated donut quartz and one clear quartz have been hanging on my neck for a few months now. Before this evening, they were hanging from two separate chains and these two chains kept getting tangled up. I solved this problem by combining the two pendants into one. The donut wrap on the rutilated quartz is based on a technique used by Iza (ya! Iza again....I am her no. 1 fan....:D), but I added the two small beads on top of the donut pendant so that it doesn't look too bare. Oh! before you go heading to her site for the tutorial, there is none. In fact, I am not sure how she wrapped her piece but the result looks similar......:). Thanks Iza....for your inspirations.

The Two Wire Wrapped Donut Pendants
These two donut pendants are for man.
For all that I remember, I have not done a lot of men jewelry and I hope this two are masculine enough that the owner is comfortable wearing them.
Both donuts are really huge. My first time working with such huge donuts..LOL..
The jade measures about 5cm+ while the rutilated one just slightly smaller.
On my palm and you can see how huge they are.
Maybe I have short fingers :)!
Close up of the weaving and "black needles" within the stone.
......and the other one.
Enjoy your remaining weekend......

Wire Wrapped Agate Cab
Last but not least, i made this late today. Phew! Must say it's a productive holidays for me. Wish there are more holidays....LOL.
This agate cab is to replace the donut pendant I made few weeks back as the color of the donut pendant is a bit off fr the necklace.
The color of this agate cab looks much better with the rutillated beads necklace but a bit huge/heavy though. Plan to look around for a rutile cab and it will be perfect.

The Spotty One (Leopard Print) - Double Abundance II
This is a rare (at least for me) spotty donut pendant as I have never seen a stone like this before.
Maybe you have come across this stone. Any idea what its called?
D likes it at first sight too, so this pendant is made for her. Now on the way to her.....
Our net connection was down last Sunday till Monday morning. Now, I have lots of catching up to do.
Just one day/night down and I am way behind in lots of things. This is like a full time job! Duh!
Must get organize again to reduce this dependency!!!
Have a great week all.

Happy Chap Goh Meh, Caged Pendant and Whimsicalnquirky
We celebrated quite simply with family dinner, fired a few firecrackers and took the boys for a spin around town, watching firecrackers lighting up the city's skyline.
The moon is brightest tonight and people are still lighting up the sky with fire crackers as I am typing this. Tomorrow, it is time to go back to life as usual, back to work, back to business and no more long holidays.
I didn't manage to make any wire jewelry today but am sharing one that I completed yesterday - a caged turquoise pendant, similar to this one.
Used 22ga wire for the wrapping.
Hey look what M of Whimsicalnquirky came up with - Rosy Bliss based on my Wire Wrapped Rose Earrings Tutorial :) While you are there, do check out her amazing works.
Thank you for sharing this M :)

Wire Wrap Donut Pendants
Took me few days to come up with this design.
You see, there are many ways to wrap a donut pendant. The easiest is to coil the wire several times around the donut and you are done. Simple, easy and fast.
But....but....but........
I like my donut to be able to turn freely around the wrap when done.
So, its worth the wait and I am quite happy with this design.
This blue stone is a commissioned piece.
The rutile donut belongs to yours truly.
My constant companion :)
This pendant went through several changes over the years. You can see it here (simple wrap that didn't last very long) and here (also didn't last long...I change my mind rather fast...hehe).
The third and last design lasted several years (the longest) but I can't seems to find any picture of it here.....ish! ish!
The wire wrapping is similar to this one here though (the yellow stone on top).
Enjoy your week.

Sparkly Pendant and Necklace
Today's project is a very sparkly Swarovski crystal necklace and a matching pendant. The focal for the pendant measures about 1.2cm across , yeah its a big crystal surrounded by two 6mm round crystals and four 4mm bicone crystals.
The necklace measures about 20 inches in length consisting of 30 pieces 6mm donut Swarovski Crystal and gold filled metal beads, 60 of them.
If the pendant and crystals look familiar, this design is actually based on my sparkly ring design and also a pair of earrings I made earlier using the same wire wrapping.
